But be careful!   Most disciplines have their own special vocabulary.  The vocabulary of physics includes words whose meaning in everyday language may depend on the context in which they are used.  When a physicist uses words such as position, velocity, acceleration, force, energy and power, the words have a precise, context-independent definition in physics.  Common words may not have exactly the same meaning in physics as in everyday conversations.

Let's get on the same level.  Lets make sure we talk about the same things when we learn about Physics and Football.   Let us  first explore speed, velocity and acceleration in football.
